Bring the whole family to Double K Recreation Facility for an evening of winter fun! Take a lap around the rink or try your hand at the brand-new Crokicurl setup. Free hot chocolate will be available around the fire pit.
Everyone is welcome. Please note, outdoor rinks are a shared community space, and all users are expected to be mindful and share the ice with fellow skaters.
New this season, the skating pad will be transformed into a Crokicurl pad. Crokicurl combines elements of curling and crokinole and is played in shoes. This new addition is inspired by successful programs in other municipalities and offers a fun, accessible winter activity for those who may not enjoy or be able to skate. Town staff will be onsite to help you try it out and answer questions. Equipment is provided.
