E-bikes and e-scooters are a convenient (and fun) way to get around White City! However, there is growing public concern across the region about safety and near-miss incidents.

To ensure everyone is sharing our public spaces safely, the Town’s Community Safety Officer (CSO) will be ramping up enforcement of e-bike and e-scooter rules. These rules are in place to help keep riders, pedestrians, drivers, and everyone using our roads and pathways safe.

Parents and guardians, please remember that you are responsible for ensuring your children understand and follow all applicable rules when using e-bikes and e-scooters. As enforcement increases, the CSO will be impounding e-scooters and e-bikes that are being operated in violation of the rules.

We’re asking all residents to take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with the applicable rules below. Click here to download or print a poster outlining e-bike and e-scooter rules.
