Brian Fergusson – Candidate Profile 
Brian has been a resident of White City for over 25 years and a Professional Accountant since 1986. He and his wife Donna enjoy pickleball, cycling, and travel. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. 
Priorities: 
  1. Communication: Enhance communication and transparency between Town and residents
  2. Annexation: Continue with proposed annexation
  3. Development: Promote growth and development
  4. Relationships: Strengthen relationships and collaboration with nearby communities
  5. Zoning bylaws: Complete long overdue review, particularly: a) comparability to nearby communities; b) simplification; c) rationalization with bylaws applicable to annexed areas
  6. Pedestrian and vehicle safety: Speeding, irresponsible drivers, enforcement
  7. Water and sewer: Continue focus on rates
  8. Schools: Work to build new elementary and high schools in community
  9. Taxes: Rationalize taxes while maintaining services to residents
  10. Recreation centre: Continue plan on an “as needed / affordable” basis

Mitchell is a life-long resident of Saskatchewan. Together with his wife Sarah and their two sons, Knox and Cash, they have been proud homeowners and residents of  White City for the past three years.

Mitchell combines his professional expertise in the fintech industry with a passion for community service, currently serving as a volunteer on the White City Recreation Committee Board and as an executive member of the White City – Qu’Appelle Sask Party Constituency Association. While attending the University of Regina, Mitchell was elected and served as Vice President of Operations and Finance – University of Regina Student Union.



Mitchell is committed to community service and enhancing the quality of life for all residents in White City and fostering a vibrant and engaged community. 

Priorities:

  • Allocate tax dollars responsibly
  • Deliver Sustainable growth for our infrastructure
  • Advocate for schools and quality water 
  • Continue planning for a Recreation centre
