Well, we didn’t win the Go Out & Play Challenge, but we did beat our activity minutes from the last few years!  Good work!

And the Winner is...

Congratulations! We could not be more excited of your accomplishments over the 10 days of the 2019 Saskatchewan Blue Cross Go Out & Play Challenge! It’s time to celebrate your community’s efforts! An outstanding 4,401,556 minutes of physical activity minutes were logged in this year’s challenge! AMAZING!

The challenge is designed to get communities thinking about places and spaces that encourage active outdoor play and you have done just that. We applaud each of you for your time and effort in rallying your communities to get more kids, more active, more often. You truly are a champion!

Now onto the results!

The $10,000 Community Grand Prize winner of the Saskatchewan Blue Cross 2019 Go Out & Play Challenge is: Pilot Butte with 485,316 physical activity minutes!

The $5,000 Community Runner-up Prize winner of the Saskatchewan Blue Cross 2019 Go Out & Play Challenge is: Shields with 444,210 physical activity minutes!

Pilot Butte will use the grand prize towards their fundraising efforts for spray park. Shields will use the $5,000 runner-up prize towards their community sport court.
