Notice of Public Hearing - Zoning Bylaw Amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Town of White City Council intents to amendment Bylaw No. 581-14, also known as the Zoning Bylaw to add a Residential 8 District - R8. The proposed Residential 8 District - R8 has been developed in accordance with the Official Community Plan of the Town of White City with the purpose of mirroring the current development  standards and regulations of the High-Density Residential District (R1) within the RM of Edenwold No. 158 Zoning Bylaw. The proposed Residential 8 District - R8 will ensure  continuity and promotion of the residential areas proposed for incorporation into the town, more specifically the Emerald Park subdivision.

The proposed zoning district gives special consideration to the allowance of secondary suites and use of existing on-site water systems. The proposed amendment does not change the intent and integrity of the Town of White City Official Community Plan. 

A public hearing regarding the proposed amendment will be held:
Monday July 15, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
White City Council Chambers
14 Ramm Avenue East, White City, SK

Council shall hear any person or group of persons or person acting on their behalf, who would like to make a representation at the hearing. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the municipal office before the hearing.
