Day of Tribute and Commemoration for Queen Elizabeth II.

The Government of Saskatchewan has proclaimed Monday, September 19, as a day in tribute and commemoration of Queen Elizabeth II. September 19 has not been designated as a provincial public holiday.

White City Town Office will be open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday September 19 and there will be no disruption to regular municipal services.

Per information provided by the Government of Saskatchewan: Books of condolence continue to be available for the public at the Legislative Building, Government House, at City Halls in Regina and Saskatoon, as well as the website of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan https://ltgov.sk.ca/. A memorial service is set for 7 p.m. on September 19, at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral in Regina.

Flags in the province will remain at half-mast for Her late Majesty until sunset on that date.
