Swimming Pools

In West White City, born and raised, in the swimming pool is where we spent most summer days, chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool, just splashing around, inside of our pool, when a couple of Councillors who wanted to do good, started passing bylaws in our neighbourhood!

On February 8, 2016, our Town Council passed a Private Swimming Pool Bylaw to make sure everyone’s pool and pool enclosure is safe and ready for the summer. If you’re buying a home with a pool, give the Town a call at 306-781-2355 and we’ll send over an inspector to make sure it’s all cool with Bylaw 595-15. If you want to make a splash in the neighbourhood by installing a new pool, make sure you get a Pool Development Permit Application. If you’ve had a pool for a while, but you’re not quite sure it’s in compliance, you can give us a call and we’ll set you straight!
